Inclement Weather Closing Policy – Salisbury House & Gardens will close for snow or other inclement weather conditions on days when the Des Moines Public Schools system does so.

The Des Moines Public Schools radio station KDPS 88.1 FM contains up-to-date information. Additional radio and TV networks are listed below for your convenience regarding school closing announcements.

For evening events, the decision for closing of the property will be decided by the Executive Director. Decisions will be based on the Department of Transportation and any travel advisories they have established for the local area. Decisions on evening closings will be made by 1:00 that day.
