Membership:  Good for You and for Salisbury House & Gardens

Membership support for Salisbury House & Gardens gives donors the opportunity to support all we do to preserve and restore this historic house museum and share it with the public.
 
Financial support at any level helps to preserve the house and gardens; provide educational and cultural programming for students and others of all ages, incomes, and life experiences; and share a magnificent 1920s historic home with the public through events throughout the year.

While your membership donation gives you free access to public tours as well as other benefits at various levels, the main reason most of our loyal members keep contributing so generously year after year is to assure that Salisbury House & Gardens is available now and for the enjoyment of future generations.

Other donation options include: A recurring monthly gift via credit/debit card or electronic funds transfer...or a gift of stock...or a planned gift using a life insurance policy...or a bequest in your will...or with an annuity that allows you to receive current income.

We at the Salisbury House & Gardens, and in the Development department, are constantly amazed by the generosity of our members, donors, and volunteers. Your support has allowed us to grow in 2010 with expanded hours, tours, and programs. However, with this growth comes an additional need.

Working with other departments and with volunteers, the Development department has created a Wish List of items urgently needed for Summer and Fall for educational and public programs, grounds maintenance, and curatorial preservation. You can make a donation towards any of the items on the list and watch the item’s progress towards purchase. You may also donate a new or gently used item on the Wish List. To make a financial donation, to donate an item on the list, or if you’d like to donate an item not on the Wish List that you think will be beneficial to Salisbury House and Gardens, please contact Sarah Behounek, Annual Fundraising Manager, at 515.274.1777x1007 or by emailing sbehounek@salisburyhouse.org. Because of our gift acceptance policy, non-monetary donations must be reviewed by SHF staff before acceptance.
