Letter of Armand, Charles- marquis de la Rouarie, a French General in the American Revolution. Date reads Thursday, October 11th, 1778, seven o'clock in the morning. A twenty-two line biography of Armand on reverse side and signed "J.A.". "J.A." refers to General John Armstrong, Secretary of War.
