Carl Week's acquisition, "Man with Guitar" by John Carroll is illustrated in this catalog. Mr. Carroll received Honorable Mention, 1926 and the painting is listed at $3,000. Also mentioned is Leon Kroll. Kroll received Honorable Mention by the Carnegie Institute, 1925. His painting, "My Wife's Family", is listed at $18,000. Mr. Weeks owned three pieces by Kroll. Salisbury House & Gardens currently has two of Kroll's works.
