Tea at the Castle

Join us for one of Salisbury House’s most beloved traditions - Tea at the Castle. Salisbury House offers four unique teas throughout the year. Our Tea at the Castle gatherings have become some of our most popular events - while we would love to host more teas and/or increase the event's capacity, it is not possible. If only Carl had built a ballroom!

Our afternoon teas are a beloved Salisbury House Tradition. Each tea is unique, but some things can always be expected, including delicious tea, finger sandwiches, and light treats. The event also includes live piano music, history, art, and self-guided tours of the estate. Usually our afternoon teas are in May and August.

Typically served later in the day, our High Teas are meant to be a more substantial menu to tide guests over until dinner. Including the usual delectable food that you would expect from an afternoon tea, we also include a hand-selected charcuterie. Indulge in a variety of beverages including tea (of course!), but also punch (spiked & N/A), champagne, and wine. These are scheduled in February and December.
