Volunteer

Volunteers provide year-round support for many of our public events as well as assist with onsite projects and maintenance. As a volunteer, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at Salisbury House while ensuring guests receive a world-class, cultural experience. Everything from our largest events to daily activities are volunteer-based and we strive to provide a unique, positive experience for every volunteer.

Volunteer opportunities include our tour guide program, helping in our gardens, assisting at public program events, various service projects, and occasional opportunities for special volunteer roles.

We are always seeking new tour guides to help lead the daily public tours here at Salisbury House. Candidates will be paired with a veteran tour guide for our One on One Tour Guide Program. Veteran guides will train you on all aspects of leading tours and interacting with our guests. We ask for a commitment of at least two shifts per month.
